Welcome back everyone. \nHow\u2019s the self-isolation going? \nIf it\u2019s anything like ours, you spend your days yelling at your kids and\nyour Boomer parents about the importance of quarantining.  No mom, it\u2019s no ok if you just go to your\nCondo Association Happy Hour \u201cfor just a little bit.\u201d  Seriously, we should build a wall around\nFlorida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In all honestly, this whole COVID thing wasn\u2019t really impacting\nmy daily activities or outlook on life, until it started to impact the Draft.  Now, shit\u2019s getting real.  It\u2019s the age old question:  Who blinks first when a worldwide pandemic\nthreatens the greatest sporting event of the year?  I\u2019ll tell you who doesn\u2019t:  Roger Goodell.  There is nothing this man can\u2019t do.  Need proof of this man\u2019s greatness?  How about the recent CBA vote.  What\u2019s Roger\u2019s answer to combating player safety?  Two words: \nMore.  Football.  And the players approved it.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So you just knew what his response was going to be when everyone said the Draft would have to be postponed.\u00a0 No fucking way.\u00a0 The show goes on because RG1 says so.\u00a0 Sure, the public\u2019s not invited, Kiper and McShay have to be 6 feet apart, and the home office is now the war room.\u00a0 But none of that matters.\u00a0 Despite all of the inconveniences that will occur during the 2020 Draft, what the people need is football.\u00a0 Our society is starved for sports.\u00a0 Ginger King\u2019s wife busted him watching Esports (loves me some Evil Geniuses).\u00a0 It\u2019s bad.\u00a0 Real bad.\u00a0 The Commissioner knows this, and that\u2019s why the 2020 Draft will be the most watched draft in history.\u00a0 To use an analogy from a sport everyone has already forgotten, all the man does is hit dingers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
