Dexter McCluster, RB Tennessee (5% owned in Yahoo! leagues)<\/strong><\/p>\n Blake Bortles, QB Jacksonville (11%)<\/strong><\/p>\n Rishard Matthews, WR Miami (28%)<\/strong><\/p>\n Tannehill’s secret weapon.<\/p><\/div>\n Matthews has put together two solid weeks, and he\u2019ll look to make it three today against Buffalo.\u00a0 His problem is that he\u2019s (at best) the #3 WR, behind Jarvis Landry and Devante Parker.\u00a0 However, if he keeps balling like this, they\u2019ll have to find room for him.\u00a0 Devante Parker is still not 100%, which slides Matthews up to #2.\u00a0 We like him as a 3WR\/FLEX today against a Bills D that gave up 466 passing yards last week.<\/p>\n Crockett Gillmore, TE Baltimore (45%)<\/strong><\/p>\n New kid on the block.<\/p><\/div>\n If you asked yourself, \u201cwho the fuck is Crockett Gillmore\u201d, you\u2019re not alone.\u00a0 But he has established himself as a TE1 through two weeks.\u00a0 Averaging 5 targets a week, Crockett has become a reliable passing option for Joe Flacco.\u00a0 He grabbed 2 tds last week.\u00a0 Jason Witten\u2019s status is iffy this week, so you\u2019re looking for another option at TE, Crockett\u2019s a good play.<\/p>\n BONUS PICK:<\/strong><\/p>\n Rueben Randle, WR Giants (28%)<\/strong><\/p>\n Even when Blake loses, he wins.<\/p><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Happy football Sunday!\u00a0 Not to toot our own horn, but last week The Machine crushed it with our Fantasy advice.\u00a0 Tyrod Taylor threw for 3 tds (and rushed for 1), and both David Johnson and Larry Donnell scored.\u00a0 You\u2019re … Continue reading <\/a>Tennessee, like most of the league, has a running back by committee approach, with Dexter sharing time with Bishop Sankey and Terrance West.\u00a0 But Dexter has carved out a nice little niche as the pass catching running back.\u00a0 In a PPR league, he makes a lot of sense this week.\u00a0 He\u2019s got a great match up against the Colts.\u00a0 Sankey and West aren\u2019t exactly lighting it up, which equals more opportunities for the shifty McCluster.\u00a0 If you\u2019re one of those teams already plagued with RB injuries (Andre Ellington) or on a team whose coach doesn\u2019t like black people (Demarco Murray) Dexter could fill in.<\/p>\n<\/a>For the reasons we like Tyrod last week, we like Blake.\u00a0 It\u2019s all about matchups, and there is much to like about Bortles this week.\u00a0 First, he\u2019s going to be throwing a lot.\u00a0 The Pat are 13.5 point favorites and will probably cover. \u00a0This means the Jags will abandon the run early and throw the ball.\u00a0 Second, New England\u2019s secondary is weak, which will allow Blake to rack up yards.\u00a0 Third, Bortles is coming into his own.\u00a0 He played great last week against Miami \u2013 a team with a much better defense than New England \u2013 throwing for 273 yards, 2 tds and 0 ints.\u00a0 A repeat of those numbers this week isn\u2019t out of the question.\u00a0 We like him better than guys like Alex Smith, Joe Flacco, and Carson Palmer this week.\u00a0 Fourth, see below.<\/p>\n<\/a><\/a><\/a>Here\u2019s a sneaky play.\u00a0 Yes, the Giants already played this week, but if you got a spot on your bench, make room for Randle.\u00a0 With Victor Cruz\u2019s status still uncertain, and with Preston Parker cut (thank you), Reuben will see plenty of action as the #2 receiver behind Odell Beckham, Jr.\u00a0 Rueben is streaky, but he pulled it together this week, catching all 7 of his targets for 116 yards and a touchdown.\u00a0 He will quickly be added in leagues next week, but because you read The Machine, he\u2019ll already be on your team.<\/p>\n<\/a>
