Alright, you know the drill.\u00a0 Lots of guys are on bye this week.\u00a0 Properly navigating the waiver wire separates the truly great from the average.\u00a0 Religiously reading The Machine will put you at the top of the game (and increase your sex life).\u00a0 Receiver is of key importance, as several of the top guys (Jordy, Julio, Megatron, Brandon Marshall, Golden Tate) are off.\u00a0 Loyal Machine readers have prepared for this by picking up Odell Beckham, Jr. weeks ago<\/a>, when he was only owned in 6% of leagues.\u00a0 Now, he\u2019s owned in 61%, so you’ll have to look elsewhere. \u00a0Luckily, you can still look here for our top waiver wire picks of the week.<\/p>\n

I’m back! (for now).<\/p><\/div>\n

Robert Griffin, III, QB Washington (47%)<\/strong><\/p>\n

RGIII is back in action this week, as should be a must add in your lineup.\u00a0 He may not be the long term solution for the Redskins, but he could be the short term solution for your team.\u00a0 Lost in all of the QB shuffle in Washington is that the Skins love to throw the ball.\u00a0 Jay Gruden and his brother\u2019s<\/span> offensive scheme are 5th<\/sup> in the league in passing yards per game, and that\u2019s with Kirk Cousins and Colt McCoy.\u00a0 With RGIII behind center, the Skins should continue their aerial assault.\u00a0 Both teams are 3-5 and going nowhere.\u00a0 The only reason to watch is for fantasy purposes.\u00a0 If you\u2019re looking for a replacement for Aaron Rogers or Mathew Stafford this week, RGIII provides a nice bridge.<\/p>\n

Malcolm Floyd, WR San Diego (41%)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Love the powder blue!<\/p><\/div>\n

There are a lot of receivers on bye this week (Jordy, Julio, Brandon, Megatron, Golden Tate) so finding a serviceable replacement is a must.\u00a0 Floyd is that and more.\u00a0 Malcolm has worked his way into a leading role in San Diego\u2019s offense, he\u2019s averaged 7 targets in each of the past three weeks.\u00a0 He should get that against Miami, which puts him in line to reach double digit points for the 6th<\/sup> time this season.<\/p>\n

Lorenzo Taliaferro, RB Baltimore (35%)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thanks Ray!<\/p><\/div>\n

The three headed rushing attack in Baltimore has turned in to a two-man game, with Justin Forsett and Lorenzo leading the charge.\u00a0 Taliaferro\u2019s biggest asset is that he\u2019s a goaline vulture.\u00a0 He scored two touchdowns last weekend, and lead the Ravens in receiving yards.\u00a0 Baltimore plays Pittsburgh this week, and this game should be smash-mouth football.\u00a0 That works in Taliaferro\u2019s favor, as he\u2019s their short yardage and goaline specialist, and we also catch a few passes. \u00a0Plus, with Forsett banged up, that only results in more touches for Lorenzo. \u00a0He\u2019s a low end RB2\/Flex play this week.<\/p>\n

Dwayne Bowe, WR Chiefs (48%)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Once a no brainer WR1, Bowe has fallen to the ranks of consistent bench player.\u00a0 But, if you\u2019re desperate for a receiver, he\u2019s worth a look.\u00a0 He\u2019s scored double digits each of the past two weeks, and caught all 6 targets last week.\u00a0 The Chiefs are also playing the Jets, who are awful.\u00a0 Bowe is a WR4\/5 and worth a look if you\u2019re really in need of a receiver.<\/p>\n

Donte Moncrief, WR Colts (14%)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Donte had his coming out game last week, going 7\/113\/1 against Pittsburgh.\u00a0 His problem is getting on the field, as the Colts have a ton of offensive weapons (TY, Reggie, Dwayne Allen, Ahmad Bradshaw).\u00a0 Good news is that it looks like Moncrief has passed Hakeem Nicks on the depth chart, which should give him some more playing time.\u00a0 The Colts play the Giants this week, and, because of the attention the aforementioned Colts will receive, Moncrief could get lost in the shuffle, making him an easy target for Luck.<\/p>\n

Bonus Pickup:\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

Jonas Gray, RB Patriots (18%)<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Stock's<\/a>

Stock’s rising. Buy low.<\/p><\/div>\n

The jury\u2019s still out on Gray, but he burst on the scene last week for New England, rushing for 86 yards and having a td called back for a false start.\u00a0 He out-touched Shane Vereen 17-5.\u00a0 We don\u2019t like his (or Vereen\u2019s) matchup this week against Denver, but Jonas deserves a spot on your bench now.\u00a0 Who the hell knows what Belichcik will do with him\u2026but the upside is there.<\/p>\n
